Arrowhead Springs Resort
property hosts several lakes, reservoirs and streams. Lake Vonette
is located in the center of the developable property and consists of 32,670
square feet. It is fed from geothermal excess water used on the property
and is stocked with bass. An occasional great blue heron,
kingfisher, turtle, and ducks frequent the pond. There is a reservoir on the
southern portion of the property containing approximately 394,000 gallons. Storage tanks containing 826,000 gallons of water are used for irrigation,
domestic water supply, and fire suppression.
Two central streams are
circulating through the property: West Twin Creek and East Twin Creek. These two streams are fed by numerous tributary streams, such as Strawberry
Creek, Coldwater Canyon Creek, and Hot Canyon Creek. Together, these
streams generate an average flow of 2,607,674,000 gallons per year.
